The goal of writing (atop other subgoals, let’s say) is to convey one thing that is true. Just one. Obviously, writing a piece containing nothing but truth would be nice, but we are incapable of duplicating something like the Bible, so there goes that. It matters not how insane a work appears, as this does seem insane, but there is one truth: “The root of it is that although I did good and gave a lot to people, the thing that I had in my heart was unforgiveness towards people that have done me wrong,’ he said.”
Now, as for the rest of the article, have you ever had a song on loop in your head, and it was more torment than anything else? Furthermore, when we consider the symbolism used by the artist in question throughout their career, this article becomes less insane – although still probably insane…
